Virtual Partner Kick Start 2026: Built on Excellence. Driven by Simplicity

10.02.2026

Setting the foundation for partner led customer success

At the start of February, Boyum partners from across our global ecosystem joined us for the Virtual Partner Kick Start 2026.

The session marked the beginning of a new year with a clear and deliberate focus: excellence driven by simplicity, a mindset that will shape how we build and deliver public and private cloud solutions to grow together in 2026.

More than a traditional kickoff, this was about alignment around strategy, product direction and, most importantly, around what partner led customer success truly means in the year ahead.

Excellence driven by simplicity

We opened the session by introducing the theme for 2026. Excellence is about intention, the quality of our products, the quality of execution, and the quality of outcomes we create together for customers. Simplicity is just as important. In a world where complexity slows decisions and stalls growth, our collective focus is on reducing friction, making it easier to do business together, to position, sell and implement Boyum solutions, and for customers to realize value faster. This balance between excellence and simplicity sets the tone for everything ahead.

Stronger focus on Web Client and modernization

A clear commitment has been made to accelerate Web Client readiness across the SAP Business One portfolio. Investment and resources are being increased, to ensure that core solutions continue to evolve in line with SAP’s modernization direction.

With this, partners can confidently guide customers forward while protecting and expanding the existing install base.

Expanding opportunities across Business Central and Perfion

Growth within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystem continues to accelerate and remains a strong priority. Boyum is expanding its partner network, strengthening solution positioning and investing in capabilities that help partners win new customers and expand within existing accounts. We are also refining how we operate within the Business Central ecosystem, recognising that it requires a different partner engagement model. With dedicated solution advisors and stronger enablement, we are positioning our BC portfolio for accelerated and sustainable growth.

Perfion also plays a central role in the 2026 growth strategy. With the newly introduced pricing model, entry barriers have been reduced while scalability has improved, creating stronger land-and-expand opportunities. Early results already show renewed momentum, confirming strong demand when flexibility and value align.

The focus is on making it easier for partners to position Perfion and our scheduling solutions for Business Central, win deals and expand into new segments. Read more about the future of our Business Central offering here.

Investing in customer success as the third growth pillar

Jesper Andersen, our CEO, introduced customer success as a critical third pillar alongside product innovation and partner driven sales.

2026 marks the introduction of our new Customer Success Unit (CSU), a strategic third pillar alongside Development and Partner Success. The CSU is designed to strengthen lifecycle engagement - from onboarding and adoption to renewal and expansion -, in order for customers to remain active, successful and loyal. By creating clearer feedback loops, structured enablement paths, improved support ownership and proactive engagement with under-utilized customers, we are building a scalable system that protects retention and drives recurring revenue growth together with our partners

While leadership evolves, our vision remains unchanged: to inspire companies to achieve sustainable growth and competitive advantage - now and in the future. Our commitment to SAP Business One and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystems continues with focused investments that support long-term partner growth and predictable innovation.

Connecting the Product Value Chain

A key strategic anchor remains the Product Value Chain.

This represents how Boyum connects innovation, product, partner and customer into one coherent experience. It enables partners to deliver solutions that extend across the full customer lifecycle rather than stand alone tools.

For 2026, this connected approach becomes even more important as the portfolio continues to strengthen and unify, making it easier for partners to position broader value and drive cross solution opportunity.

Product strategy for 2026. Modernize, strengthen and expand

The product direction for the year ahead is built around three clear priorities. Modernize, strengthen and expand.

Modernize
Ensuring the portfolio remains future-ready through Web Client enablement, stronger integrations, improved user experience and practical AI driven capabilities across solutions.

Strengthen
Deepening value in core products through continued investment in quality, performance and usability. Ongoing investment across the portfolio is already delivering measurable improvements in stability and product maturity.

Expand
Expansion will continue where it delivers meaningful customer and partner value, but with greater balance. The focus is on ensuring the core portfolio remains strong and competitive while creating new opportunities for growth.

A strengthened manufacturing focus

A key highlight from the keynote was the clear direction for Boyum’s manufacturing portfolio. Beas Manufacturing will continue to be the primary strategic investment for SAP Business One manufacturing customers. To accelerate innovation and ensure long term competitiveness, the Beas development team is being doubled in size. This increased investment supports faster innovation, deeper Web Client readiness and the continued evolution of Beas as a leading manufacturing solution within the SAP Business One ecosystem.

As part of this strengthened focus, the Netronic Manufacturing solutions Build, Produce and Inspect will move into maintenance mode. These solutions will remain supported, with future innovation and strategic investment centred on Beas Manufacturing.

This direction provides clarity for partners and customers and reinforces a unified and focused manufacturing roadmap. Across the wider portfolio, AI will continue to be embedded with a strong emphasis on practical use cases and measurable value. APIs and extensibility remain a priority, enabling partners to tailor solutions and deliver differentiated outcomes. The overall direction is clear: strengthen what works, modernize where it matters and expand with purpose. Read more about Beas modernization here.

Grow new. Grow success. Grow together

The commercial focus for 2026 is simple and direct: Grow new. Grow success. Grow together.

There is a continued commitment to supporting new customer acquisition through stronger lead generation, presales collaboration and support throughout the sales cycle. At the same time, there is a deeper focus on protecting and expanding recurring revenue by strengthening customer relationships and ensuring customers continue to realize value long after the initial sale.

Successful partners share one common trait: early and close collaboration. In 2026, we are strengthening vertical focus in regulated industries, and investing further in AI, APIs, and user experience modernization. With, for example, over 635 EMEA partners and a 94.7% retention rate in the same region, our ambition is clear: continuing to grow together through deeper alignment and shared execution.

Looking ahead together

Across leadership, product and commercial strategy, there is strong alignment around what matters most: continued investment in core solutions, a clearer manufacturing direction, greater emphasis on customer success and a sustained commitment to the partner model that defines Boyum.

The year ahead is not about adding complexity. It is about strengthening what already works, modernizing where it matters and expanding with purpose.
