Ready for the future: Boyum aligns with the SAP Business One Web Client
18.11.2025
The SAP Business One landscape continues to move toward browser based working environments, creating new expectations for flexibility, accessibility, and long-term product value. Boyum IT is fully aligned with this direction and is investing in Web Client enablement across its portfolio to support partners and customers with modern, productive, and intuitive web-based experiences.
Our focus is simple and clear: evolve Boyum solutions to work seamlessly in the browser, protect existing investments, and introduce new capabilities that help teams work smarter, faster, and with greater confidence.
Why Web Client progress matters
As SAP places increasing emphasis on its Web Client strategy, organisations need continuity between current workflows and future ready browser experiences. Boyum is advancing products in line with this direction so partners can speak confidently to customers about roadmap stability, capability growth, and long-term relevance.
The approach is informed by customer reality and partner feedback, not theory or assumptions.
Introducing B1UP Web Client extension
One of the first major deliverables is the B1UP Web Client Extension, beginning with B1 Print and Delivery support. Users can preview documents in PDF format directly in the Web Client using existing layouts, templates, and configurations from the desktop environment.
Key benefits include:
- A familiar workflow experience in a browser environment
- Consistent output and formatting
- Increased productivity with fewer application switches
The first delivery focuses on PDF preview, with upcoming enhancements planned to support email sending, printing, export actions, and multi database deployment flexibility.

B1UP AI Assistant moves into the browser
The B1UP AI Assistant is also being extended into the SAP Business One Web Client. It provides contextual guidance, data driven recommendations, and an intuitive conversational interface that helps users interpret information, identify patterns, and make decisions with confidence.
Future integration between the AI Assistant and other Boyum solutions such as Beas Manufacturing and Produmex WMS is planned, enabling broader intelligence across the operational landscape.
User benefits include:
- Faster and more intuitive access to information
- The ability to ask natural language questions
- Less reliance on manual report building
- Increased business clarity at the point of decision
Beas Manufacturing: Web Client advancements
Beas Manufacturing continues to expand its Web Client footprint with new field structures and production related views that mirror familiar desktop experiences. The 2025.11 release enhances the Advanced Production area with additional field groups covering areas such as general information, warehouse details, scheduling, calculation, and batch or serial data.
Key developments include:
- More production data available directly in the browser
- Beas fields integrated into SAP Item Master Data
- Dynamic field types with validation and dropdown logic
The roadmap includes deeper scheduling and production visibility along with a new web-based Beas Production Cockpit targeted for early 2026.
Produmex WMS: Quality and warehouse progress
Produmex WMS is also progressing inside the Web Client, beginning with Quality Status Management and new capabilities that enable quality and supervisory users to view and update relevant warehouse information directly in the browser.
The new Inventory Report offers enhanced visibility and allows users to filter, review, and take informed actions on stock lines without switching interfaces. A Proof of Concept is scheduled for Q4 2025 with targeted enhancements planned for Q1 2026.
Built through alignment and collaboration
Boyum continually collaborates with SAP Web Client teams to ensure solution evolution aligns with expected standards and functional direction. This partnership driven approach gives customers and partners confidence that roadmap decisions are practical, relevant, and future focused.
Looking ahead
Multiple Boyum product lines are moving toward deeper Web Client enablement, creating a foundation for an ecosystem where users can operate confidently in the browser without losing the value, depth, or efficiency they rely on.
The journey continues with ongoing enhancements, shared learning, and open collaboration with partners and customers who provide valuable input and practical use case insight.
