Boyum IT achieves 4th Healthy Place to Work Certification

September 2, 2025

We are proud to announce that Boyum IT has once again been certified as a Healthy Place to Work, marking our 4th consecutive year of recognition. This achievement reflects the commitment of our team and managers to creating a safe and supportive workplace.

Key Results for 2025

  • Response rate: 95% (up from 93% in 2024)
  • Health score: 78% (up from 76% in 2024)
  • “All things considered, this is a healthy place to work”: 89% (up from 84% in 2024)

To be certified, an organization must achieve a minimum health score of 70% across the survey. With our 78% score, Boyum IT continues to exceed this benchmark while also showing progress year over year.

Our approach to health at work

Creating and sustaining a healthy and effective organisation is one of our main objectives, and employee well-being is a top priority. Understanding the health of our company and driving the right initiatives for both physical and mental wellbeing requires a strategic approach.

Despite significant workforce growth and the integration of three companies since 2023 (Paperflow, Perfion, Netronic), Boyum IT successfully retained its Healthy Place to Work certification, maintaining benchmark-exceeding results in key areas.

What the survey measures

The Healthy Place to Work survey is based on 66 statements and provides a holistic view of health at work. It evaluates both:

  • The perception of individual health
  • The culture of health within the organization

It does so through four key pillars:

  • Mental Resilience – How we deal with challenges and pressures.
  • Connection – The strength of our workplace relationships.
  • Physical Health – How our lifestyle and environment support wellbeing.
  • Purpose – How meaningful and aligned our work feels.

We are proud that Boyum IT scored above 70% in all four pillars, confirming that our workplace health is not only balanced but also sustainable.

Our relative strengths

The survey highlights several strong areas at Boyum IT:

  • A safe and supportive working environment
  • Strong peer relationships and collaboration
  • Work-life balance and personal wellbeing
  • Clear understanding of health measures and personal accountability

Areas for improvement – and our commitment to develop

While the survey confirms many strengths, it also gives us valuable insights into where we can improve. Topics such as change management, career development opportunities, and energy levels are areas where our colleagues have signalled there is room for growth.

At Boyum IT, we see these results not as challenges but as opportunities to evolve. We always look for ways to improve, and the survey provides us with a clear direction for where to focus.

To address these areas, we are now working on:

  • Change management: Helping our managers with stronger tools to communicate and guide teams through transitions with clarity and transparency.
  • Career Development: Expanding opportunities for learning and career developing so colleagues can see a future with Boyum IT.
  • Energy and wellbeing: Strengthening our wellbeing programs and initiatives, including a global wellbeing committee and activities that encourage exercise and healthy habits.

By focusing on these improvements, we aim to build on our solid foundation and make Boyum IT an even healthier, more sustainable place to work.

This certification is not just a recognition; it’s a reflection of the team who make Boyum IT what it is. With such a high response rate, it’s clear that our colleagues care deeply about shaping the workplace we share.

Thank you to everyone at Boyum IT for your openness, trust, and contributions. Together, we continue to build a culture of wellbeing, safety, and support, fueled by Energy for LIFE.
