About the journey at Boyum IT

We are looking for a Channel Manager, whose primary role will be sales, business development, and enablement for our partners and customers in the Scandinavian region using our manufacturing products for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

At Boyum IT, channel account management in the Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystem entails sales, acquiring both new partners and customers, enabling partners, doing product demonstrations, and ideally also contributing to enabling the customers to go live on Boyum’s product value chain solutions for discrete manufacturers.

You will report to the VP, SaaS Global Partner Success and perform your tasks in close cooperation with the other departments involved in bringing our manufacturing-specific product value chain solutions to the Business Central market.

What are the expectations for this role?

Responsibilities 

Partner management

  • Recruiting Business Central partners to become Boyum IT partners and resellers
  • Building and nurturing relationships with our current partners and resellers
  • Enabling partners to sell our products, means supporting them and imparting adequate knowledge of our products to them through training, demos, joint implementations
  • Drive co-marketing with our partners to support them in building sufficient pipeline
  • Participating as presenter/speaker in partner events (in person or online)
  • Providing after-sales support to the partner and their customers

 

Customer management

  • Conduct direct product demos with the customer
  • Close deals directly with customers for the partner
  • Provide after-sales support
  • Conduct training and consulting sessions with customers via teams or in-person
  • Contribute to the go-live of our product value chain solutions with the customers

 

Sales management

  • Ensure healthy pipeline
  • Close deals with a strong focus on net new names

Requirements

  • Proven track record of selling SaaS solutions to manufacturing SMEs, preferably within the Supply Chain OR proven track record working as a production planner with a discrete manufacturing company
  • Profound business process understanding in discrete manufacturing across the entire value chain
  • Ability to engage and interact with customers and partners – at all levels.
  • Strong customer focus and good customer management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-cultural (virtual) team.
  • Interpersonal and teamwork abilities
  • Excellent negotiation and networking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written in English
  • Willingness to travel in the region.
  • Experience in business development/channel management or similar roles is an advantage
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly welcomed, but not must
