Boyum IT Solutions, provider of award-winning supply chain management solutions, is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dedicated team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a central role in shaping our new generation of B2B SaaS products. This position is based at our headquarters in Aarhus, Aalborg, or Copenhagen.
As a DevOps Engineer at Boyum IT Solutions, you will be at the forefront of driving the adoption of DevOps practices within our organization. Your role will involve collaborating with developers and our IT department to establish a robust DevOps mindset. By leveraging your expertise in Microsoft Azure and cloud technologies, you will contribute to the successful development and deployment of our cloud-based products.

More specifically, your responsibilities include:
• Utilize your 5+ years of experience in any IT related field to drive efficient and scalable SaaS software solutions.
• Apply your expertise in Microsoft Azure and building cloud solutions to architect, develop, and maintain cloud environments, including storage, queues, serverless functions, events, and containers.
• Champion infrastructure as code development, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Empower teams with self-service DevOps processes by conducting initial investigations, documenting findings, onboarding tools, creating automation tools, and facilitating knowledge sharing.
• Incorporate containerization technologies, manage Kubernetes clusters and ensure IT and data security measures are integrated effectively.
• Investigate and prototype relevant integration patterns to enhance DevOps maturity, demonstrating the ability to run proof-of-concepts.
• Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
Qualifications:
• Educational background in an IT-related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and building SaaS solutions.
• Strong understanding of Azure Cloud architecture, including storage, queues, serverless functions, events, and containers.
• Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure as code development, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with related tools like Bicep, Azure DevOps, or GitLab is highly desired.
• Experience with containerization technologies, especially Kubernetes, enabling efficient deployment and scalability.
• Ability to investigate and prototype integration patterns to enhance DevOps maturity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
