What are we seeking?
We are looking for a versatile business intelligence professional with a love for data to join our Finance Department in our office in Aarhus. You will be part of our internal business intelligence solution and play a key role in supporting the development of our upcoming analytics offering together with a dedicated BI Developer. You will report to our Chief Finance Officer.
What will you do?
You will be developing our internal business intelligence solution including solution design, testing, debugging, and maintenance, and performing analysis on the data, including:
- Design and create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Customize dashboards to cater to specific user needs, ensuring information is easily accessible and understandable.
- Building and maintaining data cubes (SSAS and Power BI Data Models)
- Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Apply statistical and analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
- Develop a deep understanding of the business's operations, processes, and goals to provide relevant insights.
What does our BI stack look like today?
Our solution stack and tools include:
- Microsoft Power BI.
- Microsoft SQL Server (SQL, SSAS, SSIS)
- Visual Studio with SQL Server Integration Services.
- Version control using Git.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a proactive individual who has:
- Relevant university degree in IT, Computer Science, or Business-related disciplines or equivalent.
- Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
- Must be detail-oriented with the ability to manage a backlog of assignments.
- Basic understanding of company financials and operations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when needed.
- Attention to detail and a passion for uncovering insights from data.
